We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, add pets, or use features of FurMyLife. This includes your name, email address, profile photo, and information about your pets such as breed, age, vaccination records, and health notes.

We also collect usage data automatically — device type, IP address, pages visited, and interactions with the app — to improve our services.

• Provide, maintain, and improve FurMyLife services
• Send push notifications for vaccine reminders and QR scan alerts
• Enable Lost & Found features using your pet's QR codes
• Facilitate communication between pet owners and professionals (vets, trainers)
• Respond to your comments and questions
• Send you service-related emails and updates

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only in these circumstances:

• With vets or trainers you explicitly invite to view your pet's profile
• With service providers who assist in operating our platform (e.g., cloud storage, email delivery)
• When required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users

Pet profile information linked to a QR code is visible to anyone who scans that code, based on the privacy settings you configure for each QR code.

If you enable location sharing, we store your approximate coordinates to power nearby Lost & Found alerts. Location data is never sold or shared with third parties. You can disable location sharing at any time in Settings.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted storage and HTTPS-only communication. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text. You can change your password or revoke active sessions at any time from the Settings page.

FurMyLife is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app or sending an email. Continued use of FurMyLife after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
